Introduction
Our home is set in a rural area only a few hundred metres out of Kilmartin and offers three guest bedrooms. The
house is built on flat/level ground with easy access, with assistance, up three steps into the house from the
parking area. The house although being Victorian has been equipped with most modern features one expects and
is centrally heated throughout. However, there is no lift and all guest bedrooms are located on the first floor, which
might make access difficult for people with limited mobility. The only ground floor room used by guests is the
dining room located to the right of the stairs when viewed from the main entrance.
We are located in a rural area a few hundred metres outside of Kilmartin situated to the left of a short driveway off
the A816. Our location is peaceful and remote and not ideally suited to those travelling without a car. The nearest
shop is located in the village more shops are to be found 8 miles away in Lochgilphead.
Our ample parking area is adjacent to the driveway leading up to the house. From the parking area easy access is
gained to the house by following the gravel path to the front of the house and the main entrance. The front door is
usually open but please knock or ring the doorbell on your initial visit.
Additional Information
Burndale complies with and meets all fire regulations and in the event of fire, instructions are on display in all guest
areas. We do not permit smoking or candle burning in the house, but you may smoke in the area to the rear of the
house. Please do not drop cigarette butts in the garden or parking area. We are happy to cater for special diets or
any particular likes or dislikes, please advise us of these before you arrive where possible. Mobile phone reception
at Burndale can not be guaranteed. In an emergency, we can make landline calls for you, but we may charge you
for it.
